Historic Preservation Education Grants (HPEG) In partnership with Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana Prospectus due Mar. 1 Applications due Apr 16 Organizations creating educational projects related to historic properties in Indiana. One-third of the HPEG will be reserved for qualified projects that are aimed at developing K-12 curriculum materials. Eligible projects include lectures, conferences, the production of audiovisual or printed materials such as guides to historic homes and walking tour brochures, and heritage or cultural tourism programs. Spirit & Place 2010 Festival Community Partner Applications due Mar. 5, 2010 Free Workshop “How to Create an Inspired Festival Event” Jan. 29 and Feb. 3 [8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., both days) The festival, now in its 15th year, is a collaborative effort between Indianapolis’s arts, culture, religious, educational and humanities organizations. Spirit & Place celebrates and explores the diversity that makes up the city while sparking civic dialogue to help promote positive change in the Circle City.
